2010 Season

Beavers win the Mid-Empire Championship with a 30-17 win over Sacramento City College and the Central Division Championship with a 34-19 win over De Anza College.  The Beavers end the year ranked #3 in Northern California.

   

 

 

 

ARC signs 29 players for 2012 football team

 
 
ARC announced that 29 players have announced their intention to play for ARC in the upcoming 2012 football season. Most of these players participated in a signing ceremony where the players formally documented their intention. The list of new signees includes five first-team California all-state honorees, as well as five first-team All-Metro members from the Sacramento Bee, two second-team honorees and three honorable-mention players. More ARC Players heading to 4-year Schools

In addition to the previously announced players, ARC is sending more players from the 2011 undefeated team to 4-year colleges. On Wednesday Feb 1, Justin Collins signed his letter of intent to attend Western Michigan (D1 - Kalamazoo, Michigan) at the end of the semester. Also moving on are Jesse Brown, who will attend Sacramento State (D1-AA), Joe Ferguson to University of San Diego (D1-AA), Michael Lindsey to Sioux Falls (D2 - Sioux Falls, South Dakota), Paul Reyes to Kansas Wesleyan (NAIA - Salina, Kansas), and Donte Wade to Oklahoma-Panhandle State University (D2 - Goodwell, Oklahoma). James Nunley has decided to attend the University of California, Berkeley as a Preferred Walk-on. In addition, LaDon Hudson is expected to sign a letter of intent to attend Middle Tennessee State (D1 - Murfreesboro, Tennessee) shortly.

ARC places two players on All-America team

With the 2011 season closed, two Beaver players were honored to be placed on the All-America team. Conner Rains (Ponderosa) and Terry Easmon (Laguna Creek) were both named to the team for their accomplishments in the 2011 season. This is the third year in a row that ARC has had a player be named All-America, with Casey Griffiths (UCLA) named in 2009 and Cortez Woods (Nevada-Reno signee) named in 2010 as a freshman.

In addition to Conner and Terry, the following players were also named to the All-State team: Michael Lindsey (SO/WR), Andy McAlindon (FR/QB), Devonte Booker (FR/RB), Cortez Woods (SO/DL), and Zane Petty (FR/DB). Andy McAlindon was also named as the Offensive Player of the Year for Region 1I. In addition, Coach Haflich was recognized as Coach of the Year for Region 1I. 11 Players sign mid-year scholarship offers

Eighteen players from the 2011 ARC Central Division Champions were offered mid-year scholarships - an outstanding number. Of the players offered scholarships, 11 chose to sign letters of intent in a signing ceremony at ARC Wednesday, December 21. Four players signed Division 1 scholarship offers. Click here to see the photos.   There are still more ARC players that will sign scholarship offers at the Feb deadline for 2012 transfers.

2011 Mid-Empire and Central Division Champions!

The Beavers have captured the 2011 Mid-Empire Championship with a 4-0 conference record and have also captured the Central Division Championship with a win over Golden Gate Conference Champion Chabot (9-2, ranked #5 in Norcal) in the Capital City Bowl. ARC finished the season with an 11-0 overall record. The team proved that they are among, if not the best JC football team in the state.

  • The ARC Beavers beat Cabrillo College 57-10 on Saturday, Sept 10 to open the season 1-0.
  • The Beavers travel to Los Medanos College and get a 42-7 win in week 2. 
  • The Beavers get a very emotional win over Delta week 3 by a score of 51-9.
  • The get a win in their rivalry game at Sierra by a score of 43-23. Sac Bee Story
  • The Beavers win their fifth game of the season over visiting Yuba College by a score of 54-12
  • ARC gets their first conference win 36-21 after travelling to a very good College of Siskiyous
  • The Beavers travel to Contra Costa and get a hard fought 41-13 win over the Comets
  • The Beavers get their second conference win over Feather River 73-21
  • The Beavers get their third conference win at a very wet Mendocino 39-19
  • ARC closes out a 10-0 regular season record with a 47-28 win over Sac City
  • ARC finishes the season undefeated with a 41-18 win over Chabot in the Capital City Bowl
